I am among the 10 designers invited to the Tipografía Iberoamericana exhibition. This will be the first of several exhibitions that will be held in different venues of the Instituto Cervantes.
The exhibition curated by Manuel Estrada and David Criado was realised by Iberoamérica Diseña with the sponsorship of the Instituto Cervantes and Latinotype.
The first date of this exhibition will be held at the Instituto Cervantes in Bucharest as part of the Romanian Design Week.
The event showcases some fonts created by Ibero-American type designers combined with poems or other literary texts interpreted in a graphic poster.
My poster combines the "Piazzolla" font designed by Juan Pablo del Peral of Huerta Tipográfica (Argentina) with the poem 'Cantos de la noche' (2007) by Uruguayan poet Idea Vilariño (1920-2009).
The Cervantes Institute is a public institution created by the Spanish Government in 1991 to promote the teaching, study and use of Spanish and to diffuse Hispanic cultures throughout the world.
