This exhibition is built on the balance between word and image.
There are 61 words, proposed by poets and photographers, women and men, young and old, writers and executives.
61 words that have been redrawn, rewritten and rethought by Ibero-American designers. Each designer chose a word to interpret graphically, bringing meaning into visual life.
The words became images to read and letters to look at.
The exhibition curated by Fernando Beltrán and Manuel Estrada was realised by Iberoamérica Diseña as part of Madrid Gráfica Abierta 2024.
My word CANOA is simply disassembled and given form. This poster is part of a collection of artworks titled Visual Letters.
